44 ARTISTS FROM ALL OVER WALES
This year’s exhibition features the work of artists from all over Wales, many of whom exhibit internationally . There are 24 artists showing work in the Oak Hall and 20 artists exhibiting in the grounds. During the preview, several of our exhibiting artists will be on hand for visitors to take the opportunity to talk to them about their work.

At 9 p.m. the hall will be transformed into a catwalk with seating for an Up-Cycled Fashion Show featuring environmentally conscious designers of West Wales and presented by Brenda Squires.
Amongst the designers are:
Raggedy, Wench, Kaotic Kittus, Diane Logan's Customise
and textile students from Coleg Sir Gar
Their ravishing upcycled clothing will also be on display throughout the weekend in the Gazebo adjacent to Oak Hall.

Our Art Forum is a not-to-be-missed opportunity to quiz the experts.
The eminent critic, Peter Lord, will be talking on Augustus John and the Bettws y Coed Group. We are grateful to the National Library of Wales for sponsoring Peter Lord.
Kate Marris, assistant to a major contemporary art collector, will be sharing her experiences from the collector’s perspective.
Chris Brown of G39, the artist run progressive gallery in Cardiff, will be giving an insight into why and how a gallery might choose to represent an artist.
The evening rounds off with an open discussion with our panel, Kate Marris, Chris Brown and artist Martyn Jones, inviting questions from our audience, chaired by Peter Lord.

The legendary duo of guitarist/singer Martin Carthy and virtuoso violinist Dave Swarbrick has had an enduring popularity on the British folk music scene since the 1960s, producing many critically acclaimed albums. Their experienced approach to their art lacks none of the fervour of their early days, and brings a maturity born of many years living with the music, an integral part of their beings.
